The Friends of the 502 Group was founded in November 2007, with the aim of restoring and preserving the last surviving LMS-designed Class 502 Electric Multiple Unit EMU. This unit was one of a class of trains which provided sterling service to passengers, on the lines from Liverpool to Southport and Ormskirk, for nearly forty years. The Class 50 Alliance Ltd is the company formed by the merger of The Fifty Fund and Project Defiance. The company owns four locomotives and operates one more owned by a small number of its shareholders. Two of the locomotives are fitted with TPWS, GSMR and OTMR to allow operation on Network Rail tracks. When not working special trains or being prepared for special train duties the locomotives are based on the Severn Valley Railway.
Year 5 Half term Holiday Homework. We have had a very successful half term and cannot wait for the final term in year 5 and the many visits we have! Employees survive the sack and interesting fax is received. Kyle, Coran, Debbie, Eloise, Jacob and Sam survived the sack earlier this week with a result of 17 votes to 16 votes. After finding out they would not be sacked from Super Seashores these employees celebrated with high fives and smiles as they breathed a sigh of relief!
